Introduction                              

      Hello and welcome. I have constructed this site as a means to collect information on the Burgess family and to share this information with others. Any Burgess family information that you are willing to share will be greatly appreciated. I will be looking forward to hearing from my Burgess "cousins".   Any and all suggestions for this site are welcome.  This site will be updated frequently so check back often.

09 January 1999
  -Updated the Coat of Arms page. Added 18 new "coats" from descriptions found in "The General Amory" and other resources.

06 January 1999
  -Added "The Immigrant List" a list of over 150 Burgess immigrants. Sorted by date and point of entry into the U.S. Can you find your Burgess?

  -Added a link to a chart of my ancestory on the Burgess page
